The Superior Reef is dedicated to bringing the beauty and serenity of the marine world into your life. It is run by Doug Van Wyck and serves the greater Virginia Beach area.
Mr. Van Wyck is a long time aquarium enthusiast with years of experience in everything from ponds to coral reef aquariums. He has always had a passion for marine life, never owning less than one aquarium. At age 12, Doug became padi Open Water scuba certified, which led him to join the Navy and become a deep sea diver. Since his return to civilian life, he's been sharing his love for marine life through aquariums.

The Superior Reef is equipped to handle all aspects of aquariums, from initial setup of custom installations to rescuing tanks overcome with algae to offering advice for the diy crowd.
